   Proposal Description:
   SPECIFIC AIM 1: Examine the differences in neurobehavioral functioning (neuropsychological performance and behavior and functional ratings) within specific subdomains of MCI, AD, and vascular dementia compared to healthy elderly with specific reference to:  a) Diabetes status (+/-)  b) APOE status  c) Vascular risk factors (e.g., hypertension, hypercholesterolemia, cigarette smoking, cerebrovascular and/or cardiovascular disease)   SPECIFIC AIM 2:  Examine how diabetes medications modify possible progression in neurobehavioral functioning with reference to specific factors listed above.
